It shouldn't come as any surprise that e-mail has become the communications tool of choice for business owners worldwide. However, an increasing amount of SPAM and relentless virus attacks can wreak havoc for studios. Marathon now offers relief from these time-wasting annoyances through Marathon's SPAM Filter.
Every new e-mail account setup includes Marathon's Basic SPAM filter. The Basic SPAM filter will block known spammers from ever delivering messages to your inbox. However, not all spammers can be completely blocked so our system will mark questionable e-mails with *****SPAM***** in the subject line of your messages to assist you in filtering these messages into your junk folder once you create that filter on your end.
- All attachments are scanned and any spy ware executables are detected and eliminated immediately.
- SPAM filter also provides comprehensive protection against the most current e-mail-borne threats that can spread viruses if left unprotected.
Upgrade to the Advanced SPAM filter for $49 annually. The Advanced SPAM filter shows all e-mails that we would potentially block or deliver giving you access to a quarantine box and provides you complete control over what is considered SPAM and which e-mails to deliver to your inbox. The Advanced SPAM Filter basically allows you to create your own White List of safe e-mails and Black List of SPAM messages.
- Block unwanted e-mail and then quarantine, tag, or deliver to your in-box based on your preferences.
- Block forged or "spoofed" sender addresses on unsolicited e-mail and protect yourself from phishing schemes which are often used to gather confidential information.
